We are proud to offer comprehensive general medical care for our patients and their families, including prenatal care.

Test results

All test results will be reviewed by Dr. Mal. If a test result needs to be reviewed with the patient or requires further action, our clinic staff will notify you. We do not routinely recall patients to discuss normal test results. However, we understand that some patients prefer to review all their test results for their own peace of mind. In such cases, we would encourage you to book a follow-up appointment approximately a week after your last test to go over these results.

Please do not call for results as these will not be given over the phone under any circumstances.

Prescription renewals

To ensure optimal medical care, we prefer not to refill prescriptions over the phone. It is important that your condition and medications be reviewed on a regular basis. In certain select situations, we may renew prescriptions over the phone or fax, but these will be billed directly to you as an uninsured service. There should be no such thing as an "emergency prescription refill". Please make arrangements to have your medications refilled no less than a week before your last dose.

Services not covered by Alberta Health Care

The following list outlines the charges for uninsured services that are provided at the Bragg Creek Medical Practice. The fees are established by the Alberta Medical Association (1-800-272-9680) and are subject to change according to these same guidelines. If you request any of these services you will be expected to provide payment. We accept cash and personal cheques.
